Tomorrow's the last day of the first week of school, and my assignments are already piling up.
School's been slipping into routine, with half the class sleeping before the morning music plays, extended periods-before-recess, shuffling to classes, temperature checks, stuffing my thermometer into my mouth before anybody else does so I can be on time to hold out the plastic bag and yell a sound when somebody drops their tissue in, and be patted on the head and called 'rubbish girl', 25 minute recesses spent occupying a table with '1' written on it, Yimqi's burps, taking turns to buy drinks, piling up bowls and plates and cups and spoons and forks and straws, languidly walking back to class after 11.10, occasional skipping of recess to study/finish Hw, recaps during Bio, height and weight check, climbing four stories.
I want to remember it all :)
The first week of term three has been relatively slow-paced, what with half the first day taken up by FM sessions in lieu with the anti-H1N1 scheme, and IR cancelled.
I wonder if five weeks down the term, we will still be having recess slowly and lazily, tuning out during classes we don't like, sleeping before morning assembly, and laughing our way up four flights of stairs after recess because one of us is doing something incredibly irrelevant but so funny, because we are full and we got a break and we are late for class. Whether Drama sessions will still be spent huddled in a distorted circle, talking about constipated Jonas songs or how hot gay boys are or whatever strikes our fancy, because we all know - "whatever is said in Drama stays in Drama"; Kristen.
Mother tongue girls took their 'O' Level Oral today, and we have officially spent two whole periods of English enunciating the 'k's at the end of each word, and reciting words together as a class, haha.
I'm four days into the second last term of my secondary school life :)
(And I'm nervous because I don't remember anything about The Nervous System, done the Catholic High Paper 1 for Amaths due tomorrow, nor practised my scheduled Trigo.)
I'm going to stop swearing so fluidly (or at least, cut down), sleep by 10.30, and
temporarily get over my Brit boy, Gay boy fantasies, so I won't sob my heart out regretting like a cow next year when I recieve my results. Oh and correct my posture, the muscles between my shoulder blades are knotted and they hurt along with my thighs and calves (haha 2.4km haha)
9:58 PM
In my aching head, I got my kisses
slit.
